Job Title : Floating Maintenance Technician
Department : Maintenance
Reports To : Director of Maintenance
Location : Travel
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt / Hourly
Position Summary :
The Floating Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition and operation of multiple properties as assigned. This role requires flexibility, as the technician will travel between properties based on business needs. Responsibilities include apartment make ready, HVAC troubleshooting, electrical and plumbing repairs, pool maintenance, and other general maintenance tasks. The Floating Maintenance Technician must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing schedules, and occasionally be available for on-call emergencies.
Requirements : Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repairs :
- Travel between multiple properties as needed to complete maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
- Complete work orders and ensure apartments are move in ready.
- Perform routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with groundskeeping, common area upkeep, and trash removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and company maintenance standards.
