Celtic Property Management is looking for a Leasing Agent with a passion for exceptional customer service and a strong attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in multifamily leasing, with knowledge of tax credit compliance (experience in tax credit properties is a plus but not required). As a Leasing Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the property is effectively leased, residents are well-served, and the property maintains compliance with all applicable tax credit and regulatory requirements.

Leasing Agent serves as the property’s sales representative whose primary duty is greet prospective residents and to professionally present the features and benefits of assigned property. The leasing agent’s ultimate objective is to properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. This diverse role combines sales, customer service, and marketing to lease apartment homes and build excellent relationships with guests and residents. The Leasing Agent will contact the Assistant Manager, Manager, Area Manager, Broker, and Owner should any situation warrant an action or decision not included in leasing agent’s duties and responsibilities.
Requirements :
Conduct all business in accordance with company Policy and Procedures, Tax Credit Regulations, Fair Housing Laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.
Administrative
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all lease applications, tax credit paperwork, application verifications and notifications to prospective residents of results.
- Ensure completion of all lease paperwork including related addenda, tax credit paperwork, and accepting initial deposits and rents.
- Ensure guest cards are complete, entered into the property management software and follow up is completed with prospects.
- Oversee organization and filling of appropriate reports, leases and paperwork
- Ensure leasing office, tour path, vacant apartments, amenities and general curb appeal of community is clean.
- Assist Manager in preparation of daily and weekly reports, resident communications, move out notices, market surveys, etc.
