CEM Corporation (Matthews, NC) is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join our shipping team as an Inventory Puller. In this role, the associate will be responsible for efficiently pulling parts for manufacturing, including Main Line and Sub Assembly. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Inventory Management to ensure pares are pulled accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Pull the required materials to fulfill shop order specifications.
• Package parts for assemblers in a way that protects them from damage.
• Utilize appropriate software packages and RF devices to process orders.
• Ensure all parts are correctly labeled and necessary documentation has been completed.
• Identify, document, and address any discrepancies during the parts pulling process, notifying relevant personnel as needed.
• Cross-train in other areas, including the Shipping and Receiving Departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a part pulling or order selecting role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and operations.
• Self-starter with flexibility to adapt to various roles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and handle up to 100 lbs. when necessary.
• Ability to stand for 7-10 hours per day
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice

Other Desired Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• RF experience
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
