The Technical Services Manager provides technical assistance in cement quality and process, concrete, concrete construction practices, to internal and external customers.
Develops and maintains systems and processes to assure that all manufactured cement products meet customer specifications and expectations and achieve expected quality and reliability levels in a cost-effective manner. This role works closely with cement operations and logistics teams across the US and Mexico.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, Technical Services Engineer or Certified Concrete Expert in the building materials industries (cement, concrete, admixtures).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed:

- Bachelor’s degree in Concrete Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed:
- Understanding of the cement, concrete, supplementary Cementous materials and chemical admixture industries.
- Understanding of low CO2 alternatives and strategies to lower clinker factor in cements.
- Understanding of blended cements and their uses and associated concrete applications in the precast and ready mix industries.
- Understanding of ready mix / concrete operations required
- Demonstrated ability to create and make formal presentations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistical process control techniques.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer and software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize and to work independently
