What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Care Worker position at Center Counseling, LLC?
Respite care is in-person, short-term or temporary care for youth who have been diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance. Respite workers assist youth in providing a low- restrictive environment that provides relief for the usual caretaker and that is aimed at de-escalation of stressful situations. Center Counseling offers both individual and group (up to 4 children) respite care.
In order to qualify, applicant must be 18 years old, have a high school education, and be CPR certified. Upon hire, Respite worker will attend an online Respite training to become certified. No benefits at this time.
Applicants must be able to work most evenings on weekdays (3-7) and most Fridays and Saturdays (9am-6pm).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
