The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an EHR Application Analyst to join our dynamic Enterprise Applications Platform (EAP) team. This is a full time, on-site position, located at our corporate office, located in Springfield, MA.
Your role as an EHR Application Analyst - Information Technology EAP Dept :
The EHR Application Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of EHR system(s) of the company and for providing subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in the planning, development, support, testing, and implementation of all elements of the comprehensive EHR system(s).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Troubleshoot Applications : work with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve problems or bugs with company EHR
- Configure Applications and User Accounts : configure EHR applications and manage user accounts.
- Perform Other Tasks : perform any other tasks as directed and / or as
- Manage and Prioritize Projects, Tasks, and Other Work : monitor and groom work queue, respond to requests in timely fashion, use appropriate tools and methodologies to prioritize work.
- Conduct Business Analysis : work with internal and external stakeholders to conduct analysis, develop problem definition, understand and communicate requirements including current and desired state of business processes, workflows, and data flows. Evaluate, propose, and assist with designing potential solutions.
- Conduct Systems Analysis : monitor system(s) events, performance and usage. Identify, suggest, and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Develop Solutions : uses appropriate technology to develop EHR forms, screens, and reporting.
- Test Solutions and Applications : use appropriate technologies and methodologies to test solutions and applications, identify shortcomings and / or bugs, and evaluate the degree to which solutions meet business
- Document : follows departmental guidelines for documentation of business analysis, business processes, requirements, workflows, data flows, and change management. Documents meetings including summaries of conversation, key outcomes, and action items.
- Maintain and Expand Skillset : learn and apply new information relating to EHR systems as it becomes available.
- Train and Support Users : train and support users in the usage of EHR
- Engage with Team and Company : form and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, share thoughts and ideas, give and receive feedback (positive and critical) with positive intention, attend company meetings.
- Perform special projects or related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
