How You’ll Make An Impact

As a CNA or CDT, you are essential to CMMHC’s Withdrawal Management program. Along with your Withdrawal Management co-workers, you will work as a team to support and monitor our clients. The CNA-CDT provides ongoing support and supervision to clients. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Administers scheduled medications as ordered by the Medical Director and/or consulting physician; administers PRN medications as delegated by licensed nurse on duty.
    • Documents client’s medications in EMR promptly after administration
  • Knowledge and ability to perform vitals: records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, O2 saturations and weight and document results on withdrawal flowsheet.
  • Observes, reports and records changes in client’s physical and mental condition to the designated RN, LPN, and/or Medical Director and/or Program manager.
  • Promptly reports concerns of possible suicidal or assaultive ideations, vulnerable adult, and child maltreatment incidents to on-duty nursing staff and/or on-call provider.
  • Answer and respond to phone calls, transferring any potential referral and any medical calls to the nurse on duty.
  • Ability to perform breathalyzer readings as needed and drug testing (when indicated) for medical purposes.
  • Assist with admissions, discharge, and transfer of clients.
  • Ensure required documentation is completed and in compliance.
  • Recognition of seizure activity and ability to respond appropriately.
  • Maintain Confidentiality regarding each client.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Compensation

Target Range - $18 - $22 (Commensurate with experience)

Shift Differential

  • Saturday & Sunday 6:30 am to 6:30 pm: $3 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday 6:30 pm to 6:30 am: $4 per hour

SCHEDULE

Per Diem/Casual: All shifts
