What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Servicing Clerk (Full-Time) position at Central National Bank?

Day to Day:
In this position, you would routinely be responsible for maintaining loan documents and appropriate correspondence. Responding to requests for information and inquiries regarding loans and providing support to other performing loan servicing functions. Along with that, you may also:
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Input loan payments and payoffs.
- Respond to payoff requests.
- Update and pay insurance by the due date.
- File insurance.
- Work with delinquency area to obtain insurance premium refunds.
- Notify insurance agents of occupancy changes
- Force place insurance for loans in which hazard insurance has been cancelled.
- Provide back up support for other performing loan servicing functions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience:
You may be wondering what we are looking for in a candidate. Qualified applicants should demonstrate one month to one year of similar or related experience including previous experience specifically in a customer service role. Position involves contact with others beyond immediate associates. As work requires contact with other departments and external contacts, an ability to work well with others should be demonstrated along with a desire to help others. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (customers or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also a must. Qualified candidates should also be detail oriented.
