Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a motivated individual to fill a rewarding position working in our Infant and Toddler room as a Co-Teacher/Family Advocate. Individuals would be responsible for:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The care and education of young children, ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age.
- Creating a warm and nurturing relationship with each child, and promoting a quality Infant/Toddler program for children and families to ensure performance standards are met.
- Co-planning activities and ongoing assessments of the children.
- Conducting home visits with assigned families and ensuring our organizations Core Values are always kept at the forefront.
- Demonstrating effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families and children.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Nebraska Driver's License, reliable transportation and a working phone.
- Be able to provide CPR and First Aid Certificate or obtain CPR and First Aid certificate within 90 days of hire and maintain current certification throughout employment.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish and English.
- Prior experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old is preferred. This position is 40 hours work week working Monday-Thursday with a flexible schedule. Pay is $14.88 to $16.54 dependent on qualifications.
