Duties And Responsibilities
Must Have
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for applications into the DevOps practices.
- Execute application software build and deployments supporting all DevOps onboarded applications.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate existing manual build and deployment procedures.
- Manage a team of DevOps engineers, both on-site and offshore, to support enterprise/monthly releases, tools administration, and automation.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with established change management standards and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic improvements to optimize CI/CD processes, focusing on early problem identification and resolution (ship lift).
- Align practices/tools with industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective integration with the overall SDLC process.
- Create and maintain documentation related to risk controls and audit outcomes.
- Ensure continuous improvement through automation, monitoring, and analysis of the pipeline.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
Must Have
- Managerial experience within DevOps Practice.
- Experience with DevOps Toolchain such as Jenkins, Python, ADO, and Git.
- UrbanCode, SNYK, Container platform, Cloud automation using Terraform.
