Pay rates from $37/hr to $45/hr depending on years of experience!
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex located in Pikeville, Tennessee.
ResponsibilitiesThe Psych RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Psychiatric Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.Psych RNs may also participate in and lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
Qualifications- Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain license
- Specialty training in psychiatric nursing
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nights, 6:00pm-6:30am, 3-12s, every other weekend
