Activities Director

Description

Heartland living and Rehab is a leader in rehabilitation and long term healthcare. We provide residents with a full range of long-term care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of engaging social and recreational activities.  We currently have an opportunity for an energetic Activities Director at our facility, located in Greensboro, NC.

This position will provide leadership to the facility in all areas of resident life enrichment activities while focusing on individual needs and quality life. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and adaptable in utilizing facility and community resources to build a program that recognizes the individuality of each resident.

The position is Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with a diverse population (residents, families and staff)
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively in designing group and individualized resident activities program.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and implement programming.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, self-direction and flexibility and ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team and a leader.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Valid NC Drivers License and good driving record for the last three years.
