Located in Fayetteville, NC, Whispering Pines Rehabilitation & Nursing Center has been committed to quality healthcare for over 20 years and is one of the leading providers of long-term and short-term care throughout North Carolina. Our 88-bed facility provides two levels of care: short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing. Our facility is designed for those who have complex medical conditions and also for those who are recovering from surgery or illness.
- The Wound Care Coordinator (Tx Nurse) is responsible for providing primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. The Tx Nurse will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
- The person holding this position is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policy and procedures

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Required – Credentialed in NC with unencumbered NC License / Certification
• Preferred - Two years’ experience in a Long Term Care environment
• Direct experience with Electronic Medical Record software -- PCC a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and all levels of the organization
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Very comfortable with using computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office
• Valid NC drivers license and reliable transportation
