Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the management of our company’s fleet of 130 vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle acquisition and disposal, inventory management, maintenance scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the purchasing and selling of company vehicles to maintain an optimal fleet inventory.
- Manage vehicle warranties, registrations, and tags, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain an efficient system for tracking vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and usage records.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms for vehicle purchases, maintenance, and other fleet-related services.
- Monitor vehicle performance and ensure timely maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular audits of fleet operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and implement policies to optimize vehicle utilization and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance across the fleet.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle purchasing, selling, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with vehicle warranties, registrations, and tags.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in fleet management software or systems.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience managing fleets of similar size or larger.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in fleet management.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
