Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong food handling skills, a commitment to cleanliness, and a passion for customer service. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring the dining area is clean and well-organized, and assisting guests with their needs.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Handle food safely and in accordance with health regulations.
- Serve breakfast items to guests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting meats and preparing coffee.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Clean up after breakfast service, including washing dishes and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience during breakfast hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong food handling skills and knowledge of safe food preparation practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Experience in meat cutting or food preparation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends as needed.
