What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver/ Material Handler position at Century Mold Co. Inc.?
Oversees and keeps records of all shipping and receiving. Responsible for organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another. Monitor packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages within the company
· Up-dating inventory records and compile weekly or monthly reports for the management.
· Maintain the stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
· Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
· Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
· Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packing, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
· High School Diploma / GED
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent organization and administrative skills
· Efficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
· Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
