In this role, you’ll work in our Waynesboro office, with travel to customer sites primarily in the Hagerstown/Chambersburg areas. You’ll provide hands-on support for a wide range of IT systems, from troubleshooting hardware to configuring networks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and onsite IT support for small business customers.
- Troubleshoot and repair Windows computers, hardware, and peripherals.
- Configure and maintain networks, including firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Solve technical challenges creatively and independently.
- Document work clearly for client records and team collaboration.
Requirements:
- A friendly, patient demeanor and a customer-first attitude.
- A Certification (or similar) is required, or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, safely use ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be a bonus:
- Familiarity with small business servers, cloud platforms, or VoIP systems.
- Experience installing low voltage cabling.
- Knowledge of web development platforms like WordPress.
