Description
JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:
Provides specialized service to the customer by receiving their orders, answering questions regarding their orders, assisting with questions at counter or via telephone, fax, or email.
Contributes to a positive working culture, builds strong relationships, and lives out the values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving customer orders
- Receive in repair items, tag, and create work order.
- Schedule to service
- Evaluate or receive evaluation from service technician and quote repair to customer.
- Order or expedite parts required for approval repairs.
- Quoting prices
- Provide customers with order status.
- Assist customers with questions and problems.
- Assist customers with components selection.
- Maintain current customer information in Prelude database.
- Issue RGA’s for customer returns
- Best utilize inventory by product selection and conversion
- Monitor inventory levels
- Make cold calls to existing customers and prospects.
- Prepare a mailing list for direct mailings.
- Assist with design and production of direct mailings.
- Assign delivery driver pickup / drop off tasks.
- Any other duties or responsivities required or assigned.

- Expert in driveline systems
- Ability to operate and train others on all driveline manufacturing and repair equipment.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long period of time.
- Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person.
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around an office environment.
- Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response.
