Full job description
Location: Water Treatment Plant Phoenix
Description: Pipelayer/Fitter (Wet Utilities)
Looking for EXPERIENCED Wet Utility Pipelayer/Fitters, laser experience is a plus with great physical strength and stamina to join our team. You’ll work under our construction manager’s direction, alongside other skilled laborers and tradesmen. The ideal candidate will have previous construction experience, and have knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. Must be able to work every day under various harsh conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Must be knowledgeable in a variety of sizes/types of water, sewer and storm drain pipe
- Must be able to read plans
- Must be able to read and interpret survey staking
- Must be proficient using a laser and builders' level
- Able to assemble and install fire hydrants, backflows, meter boxes etc., to the correct elevation
- Must have knowledge in retention systems such as CMP, chambers, concrete vaults
- Strong understanding of soil types and proper excavations
Qualifications:
- MUST pass City of Phoenix Background Check
- MUST have 3 Years in wet utilities, sewer, storm, and water
- This position relies on physical strength and stamina
- Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required
- Able to work in harsh weather conditions

Pay: $30 - $34 per hour Depending on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 4:30am to 2:30pm
- Saturdays Optional
- 10- Hour shifts
