\n- Manage and direct the daily operation of the Housekeeping department and public areas of the hotel
- Perform daily inspection of rooms and public areas
- Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
- Regularly inspect all fixtures, fitting, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to Company standards
- Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the housekeeping team
- Maintain good communication and work relationships with other departments, vendors, and guests
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the Housekeeping team and manage staff performance issues in compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Understand team member and guest satisfaction results
- Manage housekeeping inventory and maintain par level of linen and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including but not limited to organizational, brand, OSHA, sanitation, and Health & Safety
- Attend all required meeting and trainings
- Perform other Duties as assigned
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by team members and guests
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Must be 21 years or older
- At least 3 years of management experience in a hotel
- High school diploma or equivalent required
