Bartender

We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our bar team!

Chandlers Prime Steaks | Fine Seafood; Boise, Idaho's premier fine dining restaurant.

Chandlers is Boise's only Forbes recommended restaurant. We feature hand cut steaks, freshly flown in seafood, a wine list boasting over 700 labels and 15 BTG pours, and an extensive cocktail menu. Bartenders are not only responsible for a 16 seat bar, but service well for a 200 seat dining room.

Candidates must be passionate about food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality.

This is not an entry level position. Previous (3 years) restaurant or craft cocktail bartending experience is required to be considered for this position.

- An enthusiasm for hospitality and a constant strive to exceed guest expectations

- A positive attitude towards fellow employees and the ability to work in a team environment

- Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
- Calmness under pressure and gracious during busy times

- Advanced food and beverage knowledge and the desire to constantly learn more
- Mastery of classic cocktails
- Broad knowledge of spirits, cordials, whiskey, scotch and cognac

- Flexible schedule (weekends and holidays are required)
- At least three years' experience in an upscale restaurant or cocktail bar REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time. Hourly (BOE) tips. Insurance (medical, dental and vision) and vacation pay are available based on tenure.
