Psychiatrist - Medical Doctor (MD) (Part-Time)
CLASSIFICATION / STATUS : Non-exempt, part time / 4-6 hours per week, permanent
Immediate Supervisor : Director of Behavioral Health
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
PAY RANGE : Band K - MD $102 - $120 / hour

The Psychiatrist will play a key role in delivering exceptional psychiatric care to CRCH patients, providing both administrative support and direct care while ensuring excellence in performance standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Evaluate and treat patients, providing psychiatric assessment / care and health education services.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, utilizing evidence-based medicine.
- Provide consultation to nurses to triage patients who call or walk in to the Health Center.
- Manage and follow-up on patients through Electronic Medical Records.
- Maintain continuity of care when Health Center patients utilize other healthcare facilities.
- Refer patients for specialty services and document according to Health Center policies.
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure.
- Educate patients and family members about mental health, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans.
- Provide appropriate health screenings prior to psychopharmacology management.
- Collaborate with BH and primary care clinicians around referrals for medication evaluation.
- Meet clinical productivity standards as specified in the employment agreement.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health or designee.
