Quality and Patient Safety Manager

Location : South Chicago Clinic

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality and Patient Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization provides high-quality care to our patients while maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement quality and patient safety programs and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality and patient safety programs
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality and patient safety standards
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality and patient safety topics
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
  • Analyze data and provide reports to senior management on quality and patient safety performance

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years direct patient care experience, preferably as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in accreditation, regulatory affairs, performance improvement, and patient safety in healthcare

    Requirements

    Education and Experience

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in accreditation, regulatory affairs, performance improvement, and patient safety in healthcare
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication and business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and to seek consultation as necessary.
  • Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a high stress / fast paced / high work volume environment.
  • Salary Description

    75,000 - $85,000 annually
