Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Dover, DE
Availability: PRN (Must have open availability Sunday through Saturday)
CCL is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Dover, DE to work with adults with developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals in a variety of settings, including community environments, family or individual homes, and other community spaces.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve the quality of life they value by assisting with daily activities and promoting their involvement in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Medication administration
- Support with meals and dietary needs
- Personal care assistance
- Community inclusion and participation
- Maintenance of various documentation and records
We are looking for DSPs who demonstrate the following qualities and qualifications:
- Caring, compassionate, and nurturing demeanor
- A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact
- Valid Delaware Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals
- Ability to walk, climb, bend, reach, kneel, squat, and twist as needed
Work Hours:
Hours will vary depending on the specific position and site assignment.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening
