Position Summary
The Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling finished goods, individual components and outside processing to support production. The role operates in a high-volume high-mix machine shop environment and must be capable of managing multiple projects at once. This individual must be capable of operating in a high stress constantly varying environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel to start is required and knowledge of INFOR visual is desirable. This is an individual contributor role.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Scheduling of finished goods, pieces parts and outside processes
- Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis and resolve critical path
- Utilize metrics to report to leadership and track success
- Participate in the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
- Basic understanding of a Manufacturing environment and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business or other related field
- Experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the firearms industry
- PMP/CPIM/CSCP (or similar certifications)
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Experience with Infor ERP system
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
