What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Experience Specialist position at Christian Medical & Dental Society?
Christian Medical & Dental Associations, is seeking a full-time Member Experience Specialist who will often be the “first impression” of CMDA. The Specialist provides excellent service to CMDA members, prospective members, colleagues and visitors by way of phone, email, and in-person interactions. This role is fundamental to the HR and Member Experience team by serving our members well. They will be the first point of contact for membership recruitment and retention efforts as well as overseeing volunteer opportunities all while upholding CMDA’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Statement of Faith.
Responsibilities
- Courteously and warmly greet visitors and employees who arrive at the national office during regular business hours.
- Actively monitor entrances of building and parking lots.
- Responsible for daily closure of lobby area.
- Coordinate organizational phone messages daily.
- Process new member and lifetime member applications daily with accuracy.
- Prepare new member and lifetime member applications welcome kits weekly for verification and mailing.
- Prepare and process prospective member packets for verification and mailing.
- Verify completion and accuracy of lifetime member, new member and prospect member packets weekly with efficiency.
- Support the Member Experience Team with new member recruitment, onboarding and member retention efforts.
- Provide support to the materials request fulfillment process by coordinating the shipping and ensuring the return of materials and banners.
- Ensure accurate data entry in compliance with CMDA standards.
- Maintain data integrity and continuously work to resolve data errors in the database assisting with inconsistencies, inaccuracies and missing data.
- Resolve duplicate records in the database with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Oversee prayer card ministry including maintaining stock and weekly distribution to staff.
- Oversee and coordinate volunteer program for CMDA headquarters in Bristol, TN with a knowledge of departmental volunteer needs and efforts to recruit new volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer recognition and appreciation events and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with data entry and/or databases
- Professional experience in receptionist and/or customer service roles
