Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Kennel Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care for dogs in our facility and maintaining the environment they stay in while with us. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and sizes with care and respect.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and watering.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment (Spraying down kennels, scooping poop, sanitizing, laundry, etc.)
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with animal restraint when needed.
- Ensure careful handling of dogs when transferring them between inside and outside kennels.
Experience
- Previous experience with dogs of some sort is required.
- Skills in animal restraint and care are highly valued.
- A strong passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent pet care are essential.
Work Schedule
- This position will be Tuesday through Saturday.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 33 per week
