As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) with The Laurels of Galesburg you will assist the Occupational Therapists to help patients regain functional independence. Attention to detail, individualized care, and participation in a team approach are part of every interaction.

You will:
- Performs treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record.
- Coordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department.
- Participates in resident care conferences, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.
- Participates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
You have:
- Graduate of an approved OTA program
- Current OTA license - Michigan
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Covid 19 vaccination or acceptable exemption required.
