Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Create precise and accurate drawings of trailers, parts, and related manufactured components using drafting and engineering software
Continuously update procedure changes and maintain an accurate library of trailer designs, components, and related parts
Create precise sales layout drawings of trailers for orders and quotes to assist the Sales Department, Manufacturing Operations, and Engineering
Develop accurate and current plant layout drawings to assist the Plant Manager, Director of Human Resources / Safety and Plant Operations staff as needed
Collaborate effectively with Plant Operations, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively
Ensure the completion of accurate, high-quality work withing established timelines
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to this role
Other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Education and Experience :
A combination of education and experience will be considered, however, a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience as a drafter / designer is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume, fast paced manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience with related products is required.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Proficient in manufacturing software programs, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate
Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while easily adapting to changing situations.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to provide creative solutions to manufacturing challenges, insuring internal and external customer requirements are met or exceeded
Familiarity with fabrication and assembly practices, as well as tools and fixturing.
Effectively work with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
Excel in a team environment.
Self-starter with a sense of urgency and initiative to complete deadlines
Familiar with product construction and application.
Organized and self-motivated, while also working independently.
Maintain the confidentiality of Cimarron Trailers’ proprietary and intellectual property by ensuring that all sensitive information is securely stored, shared only with authorized personnel, and not disclosed to any unauthorized individuals or entities.

Required to sit, stand and move around the facility.

Work Environment :
Combination of office, manufacturing plant and outdoor environment.
Exposure to various environmental conditions, including, extreme heat and cold, while moving between buildings
