Job Description: Application Development Project Manager
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects supporting IT infrastructure.
- Programmatically integrate third-party components, introduce new custom capabilities, modify existing code, recommend process improvements, and automate operations and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications as directed by lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Conduct technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development and IT infrastructure projects.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party components and developing custom software solutions.
- Experience in large-scale data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
