Job Description: Data Solutions Architect
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions to complex data sets.
- Lead the development of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations in support of business strategies.
- Lead the design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross-functional view of data requirements.
- Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata, ensuring accuracy, validity, and quality.
- Provide leadership to system and local workgroups.
- Design and build relational and non-relational databases.
- Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
- Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of data architecture and database design.
- Proficiency in designing and developing relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with metadata management and governance processes.
- Ability to design high-level conceptual and logical data models.
