Job Description: Database Administrator
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.
- Maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design.
- Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
- Coordinate changes to computer databases.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration or a related field.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of database management systems.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing databases.
- Experience with database administration and testing.
- Ability to coordinate changes to computer databases.
- Knowledge of security measures and best practices for safeguarding computer databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
