POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as a Runner. The Runner is responsible for ensuring smooth service by acting as a bridge between the kitchen and the dining area. They deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, assist servers as needed, and maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance the guest experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

- Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently.
- Present food to guests with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ensure accuracy by confirming orders before delivery.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, replenishing bread, or addressing guests' needs promptly.
- Help clear tables to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of dishes.
- Keep service stations, trays, and other equipment clean and organized.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate client events and business needs.
- Awareness of common allergens and how to communicate guest concerns to the kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of how orders are processed in the POS system.
- Familiarity with food hygiene practices, allergen protocols, and workplace safety regulations.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fine dining restaurant environment.
