What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel General Manager position at CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH?
We are seeking a General Manager to lead our 69-room select service hotel on the beach. Our GM will maximize revenue, minimize expenses, motivate the team, and maintain the asset. Our GM will oversee all aspects of the operation, including management of general property performance, as well as sales and marketing strategy, profitability, and revenue generation, and human resources activities. Ideal candidates will have similar operational hotel hospitality experience.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the development of a realistic and attainable business plan and budget that defines operational goals and profitability objectives.
- Identify problems and their solutions, be able to resolve escalated customer relation issues. Maintain guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain/upgrade quality standards and property image, and to protect assets from neglect, damage, or deterioration.
