Performs responsible clerical work involving a variety of clerical tasks; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision. This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires stooping, reaching, fingering, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels, and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operation of machines, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.

Records information, typing and answering routine questions concerning policies, procedures, services and rules governing departments, preparing, maintaining and receiving files, answers telephone and greets visitors.Inputs information into computer;Answers telephone and greets visitors;Provides routine information to citizens and employees;Schedules appointments;Maintains records and files information;Picks up and distributes supplies and mail;Performs related tasks as required.Enters date for public access and keeps records of events and activities.Collects and prepares data for reports.Checks and reviews a variety of data for accuracy, completeness and conformance to establish standards.Creates fliers, publications and program guides for advertisement.Perform registration duties for athletics and programs.Process applications for rentals.Cash reconciliation and cash handling duties.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and some clerical or office experience.Must have 1 year of experience in leading or instructing in a group settingMust have strong time management and communications skills.Valid North Carolina Drivers License
