The Sport and Entertainment Office is actively seeking a Finance Manager.

This position reports to the Chief of Sports and Entertainment and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the financial and accounting functions of the office.Examples of Work
- Manages the budget. Manages ASM Capital funding/approvals and 1cloud support within Projects/grants Management Modules.
- Manages Sports Contracts & various Special Event Contracts/Agreements.
- Manages all accounting and procurement for COJ & ASM.
- Provides audit information when requested from various COJ agencies.
- Manages all merchant service accounts/devices/inventory etc. for Clover/BOA
- Manages all PCard reporting, entries, and reconciliation.
- Oversees procurement, accounts payable and receivables, and cash handling.
- Approves requisitions and receipts in JaxPro. Prepares or approves journal entries in 1Cloud.
- Assists with budget preparation, development, investigation of any budget variance and making recommendations to meet budget goals.
- Prepares and maintains a monthly/quarterly budget analysis and reports any discrepancies and variances to the Chief of Sports and Entertainment.
- Prepares and reviews bid documents.
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are followed.
- Processes permits and licenses for special event applications.
- Works as required/needed at all special events which will include overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Five years of education and/or experience in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, management. or a similar field.
- Experience in public or governmental finance or accounting is preferred.
