Parks Project Manager
Summary: The Parks Project Manager oversees the planning, construction, and maintenance of city parks and recreation facilities. This role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage capital projects, including park planning, landscape planning, and land acquisition.
- Oversee construction projects for parks and recreation facilities.
- Prepare and administer construction contracts.
- Provide complex staff assistance to the Director of Parks and Community Services.
- Supervise and evaluate personnel responsible for park maintenance and landscape maintenance district services.
Requirements
- Three years of full-time experience in construction management and capital project management.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
- Valid class C California driver's license.
