Peoria’s Information Technology Department has an excellent opportunity for a Fixed Term Benefited Business Systems Analyst who will analyze business requirements for assigned departments and act as a liaison in translating requirements to IT partners. Some of the daily duties consist of working with cross-functional teams to help design solutions and analyze customer and business needs; collaborating with users to evaluate program and system effectiveness; conducting research; making recommendations on software and hardware needs; requirements gathering; coordinating and conducting end-user training of business systems and technology; and supporting reporting and data needs. Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent with experience in systems application analysis, data analysis and related experience.
- Experience in a municipal or government setting is preferred.
