Recreation Program and Pool Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Assist in the development and coordination of programs, activities, events, and athletic leagues.
• Develops, coordinates, implements, and monitors facilities, programs, and events.
• Develops, implements, and approves promotion of programs
• Assist in design and creation of necessary materials to market and promote programs.
• Direct the implementations of park and recreational programs
• Recommend the purchase of new equipment and coordinate purchase orders.
• Assist with new fiscal year budget for future projects
• Promote and maintain excellent public relations and customer service with the community at park and rec events and programs
• Assist the Parks and Recreation Superintendent in all aspects of project implementation as needed
• Support the Parks and Recreation Superintendent with external contacts as needed
• Recommend procedure changes and program ideas
• Supervise and coordinate part-time/seasonal staff
• Assist in monitoring all sports leagues which includes softball, soccer and cornhole
• Clean and operate pool: Backwash, Chlorinator, pool readiness for seasonal opening
• Assist with day-to-day duties of pool including but not limited to maintenance, repairs and other issues that may occur
• Other duties as assigned
