Primary PurposeTo collect revenue from customers entering The Rush, take program registrations, and check the status of those customers who have season passes and signed Huna waivers. To ensure the good will of patrons by maintaining a safe aquatic atmosphere.SupervisionUnder the direct supervision of the Aquatics Park Supervisors and Aquatics Administrator, or as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Greets customers, checks the status of season pass holders and patrons who have signed Huna waivers. Files new waivers as necessary.Knows, understands, and communicates rules and regulations governing the conduct of pool patrons and facility emergency procedures.Assists in maintenance and cleaning of pool, pool deck, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and other areas as directed.Responds to the public's needs and reports comments and/or complaints to supervisor.Assists in the sale of passes and program registration.Deals effectively and courteously with fellow employees and the general public.Performs other duties as assigned.Important DutiesAttends training sessions as deemed appropriate by the Aquatic Administrator.Maintains the appropriate supplies for assigned area.Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

Physical DemandsPerforms bending, squatting, crawling, twisting, kneeling, and reaching to ground level and overhead; Must be able to reach, grip and hold; Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 60 pounds. Work EnvironmentMostly in an outdoor working environment with exposure to dust and pollen, toxic fumes, chemicals or smoke, contagious diseases, electrical and mechanical hazards associated with equipment, extreme noise; Subject to variety of extreme weather condition; Susceptible to safety hazards associated with working in and around high traffic volume; May work in confined places and awkward positions. Miscellaneous RequirementsWill be required to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.Subject to emergency call-in. Must be a dependable person due to the small size of the work force. May be subject to random substance abuse testing.
