In addition to the above requirements, the most successful candidate will possess the following:
- Well organized, self starter who can work with minimum supervision;
- Demonstrate an understanding of principles and practices of office management and equipment;
- Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the public;
- Desire to gain experience in the public sector and may be considering a career in local government; and
- Someone who is eager to learn and is flexible in taking on various assignments.
