About the Position

We are looking for a Transport Driver to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Airports, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc., while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. We use Peterbilt’s and Kenworth’s, mainly Cummins 565HP with 18 speeds. This is a night shift position starting between 3 : 00pm to 5 : 00pm with two days off during the week (Mon / Tue, Tue / Wed, or Wed / Thurs off) - must be able to work weekends. This position will be slip-seating with a day driver.

You’ll report to the Transport Driver Manager working out of our Greenacres, WA location, focusing on these key responsibilities :

Deliver fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc.
Requires Current CDL Class A

Hazmat, Doubles Triples, Tankers preferred

We can aid in acquiring endorsements

2 years driving experience in Class 8 vehicle

Strong customer service skills

Current Driver Certification Card (Physical)

Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card

Must be able to pass :

Drug Screen

Reference Check

Background Check

Motor vehicle records check

Must be comfortable with winter driving and chaining requirements.

Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations

Must be capable of analyzing and understanding general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government rules and regulations

Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume

Must be capable of problem solving in stressful situations and making decisions based on training provided

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Current CDL with hazardous material, tanker, and airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain.

Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check and motor vehicle records check before hire when driving hazardous materials.

Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all DOT industry and company safety regulations.

Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs, including evenings and weekends

Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government rules and regulations.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.

Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.

Experience operating a manual transmission helpful

Strong Communication and organizational skills

Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred

Customer service experience

Computer experience

Will be using a tablet for dispatches and Electric Logs daily

Will use digital displays at the racks and customer sites
