Job Type: Full Time
Wages: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly DOE

Paid Time Off:
- All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
- Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date.
Responsibilities
- Provide high level service to both internal and external customers.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with other dealership departments.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collects payments upon or prior to delivery utilizing customer preferred method.
- Finalizes parts invoices for processing to accounting.
- Explains parts warranty and dealership return policy to customers.
- Informs other parts department personnel when delivery schedules cannot be met.
- Follows up on status of order to assure that deliveries are made as promised.
- Review and maintain the shipping / receiving policy including wholesale route deliveries, delivery timetables, check-in and inspections procedures.
- Receives and ships parts and accessories as directed.
- Checks in all stock and puts away completely each day.
- Stocks all parts and accessories in correct bin and/or location.
- Tags all special orders and emergency purchases upon receipt and immediately notifies the associate who placed the order.
- Ships all parts and accessories according to shipping instructions (e.g. Fed Ex, UPS, USPS)
- Keep bin labels and location designations accurate and up to date.
- Keeps Parts Manager informed of all concerns involving damaged or shorted shipments.
- Inspects all parts returns to verify that they comply with the dealerships return policy and that the parts are in new condition and in original packaging.
- Ensure all parts returned for credit are processed daily.
- Keeps area clean and orderly.
- Accurately record all hours worked including arrival, departure and breaks.
- Participate in meetings with dealership personnel as requested by the parts manager.
- If the manufacturer offers certification or training courses, complete the requirements to achieve the highest certification as directed or scheduled by parts management.
- Performs other duties and task as directed by management.
Inventory Maintenance
- Maintains physical inventory by keeping stock in proper location, salable condition and free of safety hazards.
- Perform bin spot checks as directed.
- If on hand discrepancies are encountered when checking or picking parts, inform the Parts Manager of the discrepancies immediately using the prescribed method.
- Make sure that all parts within the confines of the parts department and controlled by the parts department, are properly and securely stored. All inventory should be identified with a valid bin.
- Enough bins should be available to adequately store all parts without using the tops of bins or the ends of aisles. The floors and aisles should remain clear and clean at all times.
- Assist with the handling, storage, and return of obsolescence to the manufacturer.
- Assist with the preparation for the annual physical inventory.
- Assist with a perpetual or cyclical count on the general inventory on selected bin locations.
- Assist the parts manager with the purging of the special-order bins.
- Ensure parts are stored in the manner prescribed in the department policy. Make sure customers are notified in accordance with department policy and properly annotated on the order slips.
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State drivers license.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older, pass a background check and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
