What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHYSICAL THERAPIST position at Clarinda Regional Health Center?
CRHC is looking for a part time (20 hours / week) Physical Therapist to join our health care team. This positions hours and days may vary between Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation.
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
A physical therapist at Clarinda Regional Health Center will perform patient evaluations, interventions, and required documentation in accordance with the facility mission, vision, and values with an emphasis on areas of care including ER, observation, acute, and swing bed. The physical therapist will promote preventative care through the education of the patient and associated caregivers. The physical therapist will execute all duties in a manner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility to advance exceptional care. The physical therapist will assist with coordination of care of observation, acute, and swing bed patients and assist with safe discharge planning and therapy follow-up care needs.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and / or Experience
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy with any of the following degrees or combination thereof : BS, MS, MPT, or DPT
- Must pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
