We have an opportunity for a mid-level Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Environmental Team in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office. This position will provide planning, design, and construction phase services for municipal infrastructure projects in the area.

We have an opportunity for a mid-level Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Environmental Team in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office. This position will provide planning, design, and construction phase services for municipal infrastructure projects in the area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs design tasks including computations, analysis and modeling for site development, sanitary sewer, stormwater management, water systems, and local roads projects.
- Prepares reports, construction plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications.
- Provides construction observation services on roadway, water, sewer, and drainage improvement projects.
- Interprets construction plans and documents, computes quantities and verifies measurements and layouts.
- Provides mentoring of junior staff for design and construction operations.
- Interacts with the client/owner and public officials to respond to inquiries and resolve problems.
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 4 years of experience with the design and construction of civil infrastructure (pavement, water, sewer, and stormwater) is required.
- Previous experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
- Ability to take infrastructure projects from concept to completion, collaborate with other team members, and delegate tasks to junior staff.
- Experience with understanding and interpreting standards and codes.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
