Nissan of Irving seeks an experienced, professional, and efficient Remote (Travel) Collision Estimator to join our expanding and dynamic team! This Estimator may be the first point of contact to meet our customers; therefore, their main objective is to provide exceptional customer experience while constructing and coordinating repair procedures for customers.
The Remote Collision Estimator must be willing to frequently travel and respond to "off-site" requests to collect information to determine the materials and labor necessary for vehicle collision estimates.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contacts and conducts inquiries with customers, investigates damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and internal damage. The Collision Estimator provides the customers with dependable and reliable information, guiding them through the repair process and providing exceptional service.
- Completes an assessment to examine the damage and work/repair orders to determine the components and materials needed. The Collision Estimator calculates labor and painting expenses to determine the total repair cost.
- Reviews vehicle damage, asking what is needed for repairs and parts replacement from the assessment. The Collision Estimator evaluates the quality of restoration work with Technicians. If necessary, return vehicles for extra work if they do not meet the quality requirements.
- Communicates with insurance companies about repair cost and payment obligations.
Employee Prerequisites:
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
- Advanced knowledge of vehicle mechanical procedures.
- Flexible hours and travel arrangements for transport to various destinations.
- Insurance and Collision Estimator experience REQUIRED. Pay is based on experience.
