We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaning Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and visitors.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed in various settings.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, surface cleaning, and restroom sanitation.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning tasks.
- Support porter services by managing the movement of furniture or equipment as necessary.
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as required during cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within designated timeframes.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts based on operational needs.
