Managing Director - Premium Finance

As part of Risk Services, Aon Premium Finance is a strategic advisor to account teams and clients. As the Managing Director, you must have a demonstrated history of working in premium finance in the insurance industry and leading teams to provide the most competitive terms available for our clients. The position is a part of our smart working policy with the flexibility to work virtually and from one of our offices in Chicago or New York.

What the day will look like

  • Lead and be accountable for the national delivery of premium finance solutions by developing and deploying activities to generate volume and revenues.
  • Partner with vendors to improve processes and evaluate next-gen capabilities enabling new levels of efficiency and client experience.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Partner with Aon Solution Lines and account teams to grow the premium finance business.
  • Deliver Business Results through the execution of growth, revenue targets, and pre-tax income.
  • Partner with crucial ARS management personnel to drive opportunities to achieve targets by establishing budget expectations and tracking progress toward these goals.
  • Act as a mentor and develop people to maximum potential.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize investments (people, technology, etc.) and the required licenses to support business.
  • Own, track, and measure service standards and critical metrics, ensuring the desired achievement of standards and financial goals.
  • Drive an approach to highlight risk concerns and make decisions about risk mitigation for the business.
  • Focus on operational control and the implementation of effective technology to mitigate risks.
  • Lead Audits & Regulatory Reviews – track and repair issues identified by internal audit and external regulatory review.
  • Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

    Salary and Benefits

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $155k - $200k annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
