Assistant Childcare Educator

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Educator for our Toddler class on Arlington team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead educator in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners. You will work closely with the lead educator to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized classroom and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young learners
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
• Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• Some completion of college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)
