Assistant Toddler Teacher

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners. You will work closely with the lead teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized classroom and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• Some completion of college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)

• Assist the lead teacher in creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities

Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Additionally, your creativity and passion for working with young children will be utilized in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
